An open-source intelligence (OSINT) community called DeepState UA has released a report based on satellite imagery that shows significant losses of Russian military vehicles near the village of Krasnohorivka in eastern Ukraine.
The analysis of satellite images indicates that more than sixty heavily damaged and destroyed Russian tanks and armoured vehicles are located primarily around the Krasnohorivka area, west of the Russian-held city of Donetsk, and near the long-contested town of Avdiivka.
Analysts noted that while assessing the precise losses in terms of personnel is challenging, it is estimated that hundreds of Russian forces were casualties within this specific region.
According to the recent report by Deep State UA, the outcome of the recent events suggests that the Russian forces, despite having a numerical advantage, were defeated on the battlefield.
This attack is a testimony to the fact that a strategy focused solely on concentrated armour power cannot ensure victory on the battlefield in Ukraine. It is evident from the data that such tactics have proven to be ineffective against the growing synergy between Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance and artillery operations.
