UK MoD awards Jacobs cyber security contract

Jacobs has won a contract to provide cyber security solutions to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) under a Digital and IT Professional Services (DIPS) framework agreement in a deal worth up to £1.2 billion ($1.5 billion).

Jacobs and its specialist suppliers will provide maintenance, design and support of secure system architecture, cryptographic systems and security, including testing and evaluation of technical and non-technical security features.

Jacobs will be working under Lot 3 – Cyber Security, Crypto, Sec Ops and Integrated Systems of the DIPS framework. The company will offer deep technical delivery capabilities, strategic insight, and thought leadership that will help the UK MoD to deliver complex digital and information technology programs.

The DIPS framework, which is being procured with the help of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), will run until November 2027 and aims to provide a range of digital and IT specialist professional services to Defence Digital.

“This award showcases our ability to provide cutting-edge solutions across various domains within the cyber security sector,” said Jacobs Executive Vice President Steve Arnette.

“It reflects our team’s experience and commitment to supporting the critical needs of the MOD and provides another opportunity for Jacobs to further contribute to the nation’s defense and security initiatives.”
