Babcock has obtained its first NATO training contract to deliver support to the Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway.
The five-year agreement, primarily based in Stavanger, Norway, aims to enhance military exercises by supplying subject matter experts to perform various roles, including role players and script writers.
The agreement further encompasses the provision of exercise control personnel who will assist in the design and execution of training for the Alliance’s multinational headquarters via computer-assisted command post exercises.
Babcock stated that this new contract builds upon the company’s established achievements in facilitating the design, implementation, and oversight of collective training for the deployable headquarters of the British Army.
Jo Rayson, Babcock’s Managing Director for Training, said: “During a period of increased geopolitical instability, high quality training exercises are central to improving security. It is a privilege to be working side-by-side with the NATO Joint Warfare Centre in the development and delivery of their computer-assisted command post exercises. Their mission is our mission.”
