RENK to deliver HMPT transmissions for US Army armoured vehicles

RENK America has secured two major contracts exceeding USD 150 million to deliver HMPT transmissions for the US Army’s M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV), the Armoured Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), the Paladin howitzer and ammunition vehicle sets, as well as the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS).

For decades, RENK America’s transmissions have played a vital role in the US Army’s fleet of combat vehicles, providing exceptional durability, efficiency, and performance in challenging operational conditions.

The company stated that through organic growth and several investments in North America in recent years, RENK is reinforcing its position as a leading provider of mobility solutions for the US and allied military forces globally.

The transmission deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2026, with an anticipated completion date of December 2027.
